About Us

My name is Haley and I started Weekend Made because I simply couldn't find comfortable pajamas. For years I wore my pajamas inside out because they all had really scratchy seams -- even the expensive ones! This seemed like a minor irritation before I had children, but when I got pregnant with my first child I could no longer sleep.

My old pajamas made me feel itchy and the seams gave me sensory overload at night. It made me angry and I would tear off my pajamas in frustration. After having children I needed sleep more than ever. Then I discovered that a lot of other people, adults and children, suffer in a similar way for a variety of reasons.

That's when I set out to learn more about why I couldn't get comfortable. I researched which fabrics were best for the skin, and what their impact is on the environment.  I started to analyze every garment I owned to understand which seams felt good, and which didn't. Then I tracked down as many contacts as I could until I found a local designer who could help me build the best pajamas I could imagine. In fact, they were recently rated Motherly's Best Postpartum Pajamas.

Along the way I've relied upon my amazing family and friends to get this thing off the ground. It's taken nearly two years of hard work to achieve all the right elements.  I put a lot of time into optimizing for comfort, price, and ethical manufacturing practices to ensure both your body and your mind can relax when you wear Weekend Made.  I hope you love it as much as I do.  If you don't, let's talk.
